Activities Afternoon


Loving Learning Something New

 

This year we have introduced a two week timetable which has afforded us the flexibility to include an activities afternoon into our curriculum. This is an exciting new development for the college that enables students to take part in a range of enriching activities throughout the year. Students are asked to indicate the three activities they are most interested in each rotation and we do our best to accommodate their wishes. The programme is part funded by the Pupil Premium grant.
Activities afternoon is timetabled from 1.30 – 2.50pm on a Wednesday each week 2 during which time some students take part in offsite activities.


The programme was launched on the 9th September 2014 and has already proved to be very successful and very popular with our students who are definitely ‘loving learning something new’.  Faculties each take the lead for one of the following areas:
