Year 8 Booktalking
Posted on: 10/10/2019A group of our year 8 students enjoyed a wonderful booktalking session on Wednesday 9th October with Cassie Kemp from Creative Learning Services.
The students are participating in an 8 for 8 reading challenge and Cassie came to tell them about the exciting books that have been selected for them to read.
After the event they were able to choose which books they wanted to read first and one students commented “I have never been so excited to read a book ever!” The book he selected was ‘The Twisted Tree’ by Rachel Burge.
