Competition - A Sign of Hope During Lockdown

The Babington Art Department have joined up with SmARTsy glass studios to invite you to our exciting competition.

We would like you to create a design that demonstrates ‘hope during lockdown’ The design can be created in any 2D art materials that you have at home such as a pencil, a pen, coloured pencils or Sharpies, etc. Once the winners have been chosen from each year group, your design will be created in glass for you to keep, just like in the images below. There will also be vouchers for the top winning designs.

Your designs could represent something that has given you hope whilst staying at home. Perhaps you have taken inspiration from nature, have seen a beautiful bird on one of your walks, or have enjoyed seeing all of the rainbows that people have displayed in their windows? Your artwork could be based on Captain Tom or the NHS, the design is completely up to you.

We will be announcing the deadline for entries soon, as well as developing designs in lessons.
