Nine Year 9 Students from Babington took part in the Tomorrow's Engineers Robotics Challenge. This is a tournament that involves programming a Lego robot across a series of missions. They also had to make two presentation. The first of these they had to present to judges a technological solution to a humanitarian problem. The second is explaining how they went about the Lego robot missions looking at the robot design to the robot programme. They worked hard at programming the robot to complete as many missions as possible in a set time. The final challenge was one the students could not prepare for and required them to work as a team on a physical problem to safely get a Lego man down from the top of a steep ramp.

On the day the students performed incredibly well and showed excellent teamwork skills that impressed the judges.
